We are all living life with different struggles. We are all navigating life, and though we travel our own paths, we encounter the same themes and realities under different circumstances. A tarot deck is representative of the spectrum of the human experience. Each card in tarot has a traditional meaning and each deck the creator’s interpretation of that meaning. Kaila Wilde uses her knowledge and interpretation of the tarot as a personal growth tool and to create an affirmative statement + note to keep us lifted and to remind us that we are not alone.

Reflection:
In our childhood, we do not really get to make our own choices; However, that all changes and the choices we make become solely ours at some point.
The power and importance of choices can be represented with the Two of Swords. The roads we go down in life are determined by our choices. True enough, the choices of others can impact our lives on certain levels, but we do not have control over the choices of others. On the other hand, we do have control over the choices we make and that is why most of our attention should be focused on our choices.When we learn and know how to suitably make choices, naturally, it allows us to tap into a heightened level of experiencing and viewing life. At a heightened level, we understand that even if our right to choose is taken away, we have a choice with our reaction. We understand that by not making a choice we chose to let someone else make the choice for us. We understand that we might not always like our choices but that doesn’t change the fact that options always exist.
While we are breathing beings on this planet, we should strive to make choices that are rooted in love. We should strive to make choices that are rooted in God. We should strive to make choices that are rooted in authenticity. Choices rooted in love, God, or authenticity will ultimately always place us in positions of freedom, joy, and peace; However, making these types of choices does not always come easy to us. Sometimes inadvertently and other times knowingly, we make choices that are not aligned with love, God, or authenticity. Nevertheless, every day that we wake up we have the opportunity to make new and different choices over and over again.
Application:
Pay attention to how much of your life is all about choices that you have and are in control of. What you say? What you do? How you act? How you react? Who you are? All choices. Recognize the power you have in your never-ending ability to constantly choose.
Don’t harshly judge or punish yourself for choices that you aren’t proud of or regret. Better yourself from what the experience taught you and choose more appropriately moving forward.
